Hello guys! welcome back! Last week you will not believe where I went. To the BILTMORE ESTATE! From the parking lot, we took an old-style motor bus to the actual estate. We first had to go through one mile of land which also belonged to Biltmore and then in the bus 2 miles more! To be honest, the first glance at it, I wasn't TOO impressed. But inside, it was HUGE. At a square foot measured of 175,000 (originally) it probably fitted all 250 rooms 43 bathrooms, AND 65 fireplaces. Another fact I was shocked to hear about was that almost 128 years ago, (When it was built) that there were elevators that still stand today and even lightbulbs, refrigerators, and more modern-day appliances that were there back then! A kid friendly feature they have is that you need audio phones which tell you about the place as you go to each room. They have a special control on those that changes the voice and story to their signature dog, Cedric. There was also plenty of gift shops, food stores, and more. There was also one of those that shone out for me. It was called the "Confectionary". I got a small box of chocolates from there and they were delicious! Some of the rooms on the top floor give gorgeous views of the mountains and farm land to the side of it. Many gardens too place on the land and the flowers were in full bloom there. Observation decks and Koi fish ponds were also here. Overall, this was a pretty cool vacation and i'll see you next time guys!
