Hello everyone! It me again! You will NOT believe where I went last week!.... Niagara Falls! Located RIGHT at the US - Canada border, this magnificent wonder of the world is a must - see for any bidding tourists wanting a spectacular taste of adventure. First off, we started on the GIANT observatory bridge that arched over the body of water beneath
giving a MAGNIFICENT view of the American as well as Horseshoe Falls.
As we neared the end of the bridge, we took an elevator down to the ground floor to go to Maid Of The Mist. If you were wondering, Made Of The Mist is NOT what it really sounds like and it's just a very windy, wet boat ride that takes us up to only 10 meters away from the falls! When they set the double - decker boat free, I was really surprised at how fast it moved toward the falls. Sure, it started out calm, but as we got closer and closer, the wind started whipping us in the face, our ponchos soaked my the MILLIONS of gallons of water pouring out each second. For some minutes, all I could see was a TOTAL white - out! Talk about adventure! As we turned back, (happily) a flock of seagulls and ducks greeted us back to the shore. Soaked and happy, I left the boat knowing that I had been on one of the MOST popular rides in the US and Canada for the SECOND time!
Look out for part 2 when I go to the Cave Of The Winds!
